What is Hypnoanalysis?

About Hypnoanalysis (Analytical Hypnotherapy) in Drogheda described as "the cream of therapies," Hypnoanalysis is a highly specialised form of holistic therapy that focuses on treating the whole person, rather than simply addressing a collection of symptoms. Unlike traditional hypnotherapy, which primarily uses suggestion, Hypnoanalysis combines hypnosis with analytical techniques such as free association and regression to cause. This creates a powerful form of deep therapy that can help uncover and resolve the underlying causes of emotional, behavioural, and even some physical difficulties. Many people experience profound and lasting positive changes, often within a relatively short period of time, with the benefits continuing long after therapy has ended.*Since its development in the late 1970s by psychotherapist Neil French, Hypnoanalysis has helped transform the lives of countless individuals around the world—including my own.

It has been used successfully to relieve a wide range of symptoms and challenges affecting both mental and physical wellbeing. How Does It Work? Hypnoanalysis is based on the principle of cause and effect. During sessions, you are guided into a light and comfortable state of hypnosis, allowing memories from your early formative years to surface naturally. Some of these memories may be familiar, while others may have been long forgotten. Among these memories, one or two often hold particular significance. By exploring and releasing the emotions connected to them, the influence they have been exerting on your life can be resolved—often permanently. This process not only brings relief from unwanted symptoms but also provides a level of self-understanding and personal insight that few other therapies can offer.

What Can Hypnoanalysis Help With? Hypnoanalysis is a broad and versatile therapy that has helped people with a wide range of concerns, including: Anxiety, stress, and emotional difficulties. Behavioural patterns and unwanted habitsConfidence and self-esteem issues. Relationship challenges, Certain skin conditions, Sexual difficulties, Medically unexplained symptoms (where medical investigations have found no clear cause)

Please note: If you are experiencing physical symptoms, you should always consult your GP or healthcare professional first. You may also feel that there is something in your life that is holding you back—a recurring feeling, pattern, or inner struggle that you cannot quite explain. If that sounds familiar, Hypnoanalysis may offer a unique and highly effective way forward.
