Children's Mental Health Problems

Children's Mental Health is just as serious as any problem any adult goes through. Problems like enuresis (bed wetting), anger, nightmares, school fears, bullying, lacking confidence. 1-2 session brings lasting results.

Children’s Mental Health. From time to time I get calls from parents asking if hypnosis could help their child to stop bed wetting? My first question is, how old is your child? If he or she is 6/7 and up then it is very possible I can help. Children make amazing hypnotic subjects, because they have such a rich and fertile imagination. Therefore, they go into hypnosis at the drop of a hat and accept suggestions easily.

Most children’s problems can be alleviated in just one or two sessions. From bed wetting to refusing to toilet train, school fears, nightmares, shyness. Please bear in mind that your child has his or her own personality. This we cannot change.

Children’s Mental Health

So is your child suffering from bed wetting, night mares, stutters, stammers, nail biting, anger outbursts, shyness, lack of confidence, poor study habits, or an eating disorder?

Just like you and I, children also have problems and may very well benefit from hypnotherapy. Children make wonderful subjects when it comes to hypnosis, because just like us when younger, they are in and out of hypnosis every day, do you remember looking out of the class room window daydreaming?

Children’s Mental Health a Testimonial

Dear Michael,

Here, as promised, is the letter to let you know how things are with Stewart. After you left, we spoke about what happened and he said he felt very relaxed and calm. He didn’t go into details about what he had thought of and, as promised, I did not ask him anything. Shortly after Mary and the other two came back Stewart went up to his room. Next thing he is fast asleep and he never stirred until the next morning, as bright as a button.

He seems to be coping well at school and here at home, and although I have not witnessed any sudden mood swings. He seems to have a certain calmness that he did not have before. As if all is well with the world.

Another thing I have noticed, he has now started talking about what he has been doing at school. Also (although this could be a coincidence) he has had no detentions at school for the last two weeks. They will be making him head boy next! All in all, I am more than delighted with the way Stewart is behaving and I hope it continues forever.

I must also apologise once again for having to have you kept waiting for me to come home from work.

Do you think Penny and Peter would benefit from hypno-therapy?
Penny so has to be the centre of attention all the time and Peter at the moment has a thing about being called names with reference to his hair colour and his height (or lack of it!)

To tell you the truth, having gone under, I came out of it quite disorientated.  It took me half an hour to know what I was doing.

I must close now as it is, would you believe 3.20am Sunday morning (I always think better at night)

Thank you for the help you have given us. I will not forget it.

Yours sincerely.

Ps

I would also like to discuss what could be done to help Alice.

Children’s Mental Health is why The Blowaway Technique was developed with children in mind.

The Blowaway technique was devised particularly for use with children from the age of around seven or eight to sixteen although it can be very successful with younger children as long as they have a reasonable attention span. It is a very gentle non-intrusive therapy that produces positive cumulative results within a short space of time.

When I see children in my practice I always insist that both parents and/or carers attend. The reason for this is to facilitate a subconscious change within the family dynamics. It is so important that the whole family is behind the child’s treatment program. To bring about change then there needs to be a change in the family relationship. If the child changes and the family retrain the status quo, then the changes will be short lived.
Below are just a few of the many mental health conditions that respond favourably to the Blow Away technique.
